What does renting a powerbank cost?
You pay €4 per 24 hours per powerbank. The rental starts the moment you take the powerbank out of the terminal and stops once the terminal confirms the return. Every new 24-hour period started after that is another €4. Not returned within 72 hours? Then we charge €30, the rental ends and the powerbank is yours.
How can I pay?
You choose how to pay at the terminal. In the app you pay with a payment card (credit card too), Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL / Wero, Link or Revolut Pay. With Link you pay quickly using your saved payment details. Rather not use the app? Pay straight at the terminal with your bank card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Do I need an app or an account?
No, you can pay straight at the terminal with your bank card or phone. Renting through the app? Your receipt is in there too.
Do I pay a deposit?
That depends on how you pay. Rent through the app and there's no deposit. Pay straight at the terminal with your bank card or phone and a deposit does apply.
Do I need a subscription?
No. You only pay when you actually rent.
Do I get a receipt?
Renting through the app? Your receipt is in there.
Returning
Where can I return it?
At any Airvall terminal in the Netherlands, wherever you rented the powerbank. The map on this site shows which locations are open and how many powerbanks are ready.
What if every slot is taken?
Check the map in the app to see where you can return it at another location. Until you return the powerbank, your rental continues at the same rate of €4 per 24 hours started.
What if I don't return it?
Don't return the powerbank within 72 hours? Then we charge €30. The rental ends and the powerbank is yours. Something went wrong? Send us a message and we'll take a look.
Can I return it in another city?
Yes, you can return your powerbank at an Airvall terminal in another city too. Do keep the location's opening hours and the available return slots in mind.
The location is closed — now what?
Opening hours are listed with every location on the map in the app. If the door is shut, pick another terminal; your rental only stops when you return it.
The powerbank
Which cables are included?
USB-C, Lightning and Micro-USB — built in. Nothing to bring along.
How much capacity does it have?
The powerbank has a capacity of 10,000 mAh. How often you can charge depends on your phone and how you use it while charging.
What if the powerbank won't charge?
Return it and send us a message with the station location. We correct the rental and take the powerbank out of circulation.
Privacy & data
What data do you keep?
What we need for the rental and the payment. We use location data only to show terminals near you; we don't track you.
Can I have my data deleted?
Yes. Email hi@airvall.nl and we'll delete your data, except what we're legally required to keep for our records.
